About Byala

The picture square town of Byala is part of Varna District. The history of the town goes back to the IV century BC when it has been called Aspros. In the town you can find an Ethnographic Park and the palaeo-geological phenomenon “Belite Skali” or in English “The white rocks”. One of the traditional trades in Byala are the winery and the viniculture. There are large areas of vineyard plantations.

The sea coast of Byala is a combination of rocky coast, small gulfs and sandy beaches. The beach of Byala is one of the cleanest in the area due to the far distance from the larger cities of Varna and Bourgas. The combination of mountain and sea climate makes Byala a wonderful place for relaxation far away from the city lifestyle. However, if you feel that you may need some large city entertainment, shopping malls and night life you can find it only 30 minutes away north to Varna and south to Bourgas.

Here steep rocks entering the sea take turns with secluded beaches with golden sand, creating impressive landscapes. Besides the central beach of the resort, the guests of this apart-hotel in Byala may visit the beaches of Kara Dere and Irakli. On the central beach is located a water slide and many facilities for active sports and entertainments: water banana, water ski, jets, beach volleyball, boats for rent, jeep safaris, etc. In the town itself may be visited the ethnographic park and nearby is located the natural landmark Belite Skali – the White Rocks.
